Looking ahead to the rest of the year

Hi,

Spring/early summer has got to be the most creative, most inspired and most energised I feel all year! Anyone else get a burst of creativity as soon as the sun comes out?

There’s a few things I’m working on behind the scenes at the minute that have got me super energised and excited by work that I can’t wait to share.

In other news, some of you may know I am expecting my second child this summer so will be taking some semblance of maternity leave from then until later on in the year.

This means I have some very limited availability for smaller projects between now and mid-July. This could look like:

👉 A new visual identity for your small business with my new service Branding Basics. Branding Basics is for solopreneurs and service providers who want to look more professional and more distinctly “you” with a cohesive, thoughtful and stand-out visual identity design. Perhaps you have DIY’d your brand thus far but it doesn’t quite hit the mark, or you are just starting out and are ready to invest in your visual brand.

👉 A Squarespace Spruce-Up Day. Perhaps you already have your Squarespace site designed but you know it needs a bit of care and attention to make it even better. This is a dedicated day to sprucing up your existing Squarespace site and ensuring it is consistent, easy-to-use, functional, and beautiful.

👉 A Design Maintenance Day - A dedicated day just for you and your brand. This offer is for you if you have a design task(s) to get off your plate and you need it done quickly. Design Maintenance Days are high-touch dedicated days to work just on your business and design needs with speed.

👉 Setting up your brand template library so that anyone in your business can access, you will be able to easily create designs and implement your branding across multiple channels without the need for the input of a designer each time. The best way to ensure that all of your comms are always on-brand and consistent.

👉 Or joining my new community anytime. A place where I support founders, business owners and freelancers wanting to connect with others in the same brand-building boat. This community is set up for those of you who might feel a bit overwhelmed with all this branding business and want a bit of reassurance from others doing the same thing as well as support from an award-winning designer.

I have been working away in the background on getting everything ready to launch my new budget-friendly branding toolkit for freelancers and founders later this year. This is an absolute passion project of mine borne out of the desire to help small business and freelancers to confidently create their own visual identity without the upfront cost of hiring a designer.
